Garmin vivoactive HR vs. Fitbit Blaze. This is one of the most asked about videos. It seems like a lot of folks are really stuck between these two devices so in this video I do my best to explain the main differences and advantages between them to. No doubt they have to be on your best activity tracker 2016 / best fitness tracker 2016 list and even your best gps watch 2016 list if you don’t count the fact that the Blaze technically has Connect GPS and does not have GPS built in. Now in terms of other stuff, it really boils down to style/casual vs. athlete/fitness enthusiast. If you want to wear the device in more settings beyond the gym, well then the Blaze is the way to go. If you’re a hardcore athlete and are incredibly active the vivoactive is going to be the way to go. Also, stay tuned for my full garmin vivoactive review. Below are some relevant links, as you will see if you did not already know I do many Fitbit reviews and Garmin running watch reviews and I hope to keep it up!

Blaze is inferior, he clearly LOVES the Blaze, making it closer than it really is. VHR by a landslide. A GPS less device shouldnt cost that much

I'm thinking about one of these watches but I was wondering if Garmin vívoactive HR can be used with spotify on an android device and controlled through the watch?

I was already leaning more towards the garmin but this was a really good review and I made up my mind really quick before the video was even over

I love your videos but I'm still confused about which one to buy, I mostly do running ,cycling, treadmill, i love the fact that u can listen to music it helps when im running, text messages is something i need as well, water proof is a must because I do water aerobics , swimming and I love to see how much calories that I'm burning without putting in the portions that I eat I want it to automatically do it and I love to see how many hours of sleep that I'm getting I also love for the Smartwatch to coach me through and exercise that's one of the reasons why I love The Blaze but at the same time is The Blaze really for me or this Samsung Galaxy or another one based on what I told you which one do you think will be better for me?

I need to find a tracker that can get me the closest approximation of daily calories. I do weightlifting, HIIT and regular slow cardio. What would work the best for me?

one thing I like about fitbit though is the challenges with friends. does Garmin have that? fitbit needs to get one that's waterproof

Hey for anyone wondering about music, one thing I saw here is that he said the vivoactive hr is only for stored music. it is not! it works with other apps such as Spotify and Pandora. I use it for Spotify everyday

Hey! Im considering to upgrade from my vivofit and try out the vivoactive line. However, im strapped for cash and i wanted your opinion on whether i should just go for the 1st gen vivoactive, priced at 149 or can i justify the 100 more and go for the vivoactive HR which is at 249? Thanks!
