Two months ago, sony released the Xperia z2 wich is a real amazing phone when it comes to recording video, it can also record in 4k with a fantastic steadymotion function, very amazing. But, cause there is always a but, built in microphone arent always as good as the camera can be, and then, what s the point of having a great picture with a shitty sound?
Sony, is into picture buisness since ages, and they know what makes a good movie: a good picture quality, and a good sound quality.
that s why they released this amazing external microphone (works only on 5 pin jacks capable devices) called the STM 10.
Two directional microphone for pick the best sound when recording a video or a voice for later playback.
I just received mine, and here are two videos, first one is for the classic unboxing, and the second one, is an audio comparaison, without and with the microphone.
as you will hear, with the microphone, less noise, just the essential, and much more closer than real sound than with built in microphone.
